J.River Media Center - мультимедийный центр. Проигрывает большинство популярных аудио- и видеоформатов, включая MP3, аудио-CD и DVD, может преобразовывать CD-аудиотреки в WAV и MP3, переписывать на жёсткий диск виниловые диски и кассеты, а также создавать аудио-CD, причём для всех этих функций программа имеет множество настраиваемых параметров. Кроме того, есть очень хороший и мощный органайзер мультимедийных файлов, медиаредактор, эквалайзер, встроенный DSP и удобный планировщик заданий для автоматизации проигрывания/записи,  поддерживается пульт ДУ. Из необязательных, но приятных функций - возможность изменения внешнего вида с помощью скинов, мини-режим проигрывателя и "телевизор". Программа имеет мультиязычный интерфейс, включая русский.

    Проигрыватель определяет битрейт файлов, его значения обычно неизменны, но у некоторых файлов он постоянно меняется. Размер у последних меньше. На сколько такие файлы  хуже для звука.

    народ, кто пользуется : по сравнению с версиями 18-20 что-то улучшилось у сабжа в последних изданиях ?
    или он только пухнет от ненужных приблуд для соцсетей ?

    У поклонников RadioParadise снова (24.0.65) есть маленькая радость - стриминг разделили на 4 потока и теперь можно слушать именно то, что более по-душе, а именно: Groovy, Mellow, Rocking, и Главный(тот, что и был раньше)...Теперь на очереди RadioJRiver с его тысячами пользователей и миллионами загруженных от них треков...
    Для удобства пользования предлагаю дисплей плеера настроить следующим образом:

    Таким образом, можно адекватно отображать информацию при стриминге или воспроизведении своих альбомов...
     
    Чтобы не копаться с настройками, запустите:
