I had a very similar problem , first with Corel X3 it would show 'program installation unsuccessful', I tried everything I could i.e. PSI Service Enabling, Cleaning Temp files/crap off the PC, only thing I couldnt do was reinstall windows since I have other important stuff installed. Same install worked on my laptop but for some reason didnt work on the main PC. Then I downloaded X4 trial just to make sure it worked ( Before I buy it ) , and I got a blank agreement, same as many other people on this forum. Again I tried everything I could but it didnt work. Finally after spending a looong time ( 2 days ) trying to troubleshoot it, I think that one of the following definitely solved the problem. Completly resetting Internet explorer settings & using CCleaner to clean the system of any unwanted files. Go to start menu --> Run and type in "regsvr32 jscript.dll" Go to start menu --> Run and type in "regsvr32 vbscript.dll" Doing this solved my problem immediately, there might be other files which arent registered properly with the system and the reason agreement doesnt show up. It might not work for everyone but might help the corel guys find a solution for this problem. Cheers Nrupesh |
