I tested with 27474 using customer ID 1355169050 (0x50c63d1a) as I had read in the first serial log and the format worked at 120GB. I performed a SECURE_ERASE and that was successful. Then I reflashed using 27475 (240GB) using the crazy customer ID and that also worked. I performed another SECURE_ERASE. I was then able to install Fedora and Windows 10 on the disk. It feels a bit slow, will be running CrystalDisk benchmark on it. I wonder if reflashing with drivecongfig Read and Write DMA buffers enabled would improve performance. Thanks so much for the help and patience. I will be posting here again after some days of use to report the state of the drive. EDIT: Drive was on a SATA2 port, that explains the slow performance. It maxes our SATA3 read (547 MB/s), but not write (294 MB/s). This is CrystalDiskMark 5.2.2 Seq Q32T1. Are there any worthwhile non-default settings in the driveconfig that I can use to improve Write speed? CrystalDiskInfo says that the drive does not support DevSleep. Is that important? Can it be added via driveconfig? | Всего записей: 12 | Зарегистр. 03-10-2017 | Отправлено: 04:28 09-10-2017 | Исправлено: axelm, 06:24 09-10-2017 |
