You may place this file any where on the systems hard drive but it is recommended that you copy or download it to the following location:
C:\Program Files\Logitech\MouseWare\System
Mouse behavior in some applications can be customized by adjusting some MouseWare settings. A simple utility, (MWADVANCED.EXE) has been provided for such applications (i.e., games or CAD software), which makes it easier to adjust some MouseWare settings. Please note that this program only makes changes to the registry, it does NOT run in the background and is not a TSR, (Terminate Stay Resident) program.
Please note that this utility currently does add new game EXE files for detection by MouseWare into the registry key below, (for those games that don't use OpenGL or Direct Input):
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Logitech\MouseWare\CurrentVersion\GamingCompatibility
To launch just double clicking on it, check the boxes for the behavior you want, hit "Apply" button. When you hit the "Apply" button you will notice that the mouse icon in the systray will disappear for a moment, then return. This is because EM_EXEC.EXE is shut down, the changes are then made to the registry and then EM_EXEC.EXE is re-started. Now launch the application and check to see if you have the desired behavior. |
