если коротко, то плохая организация, неразбериха с правилами и результатами голосования; многие считали, что победить должна была француженка, но все скандинавы дружно дали высшие баллы шведке, и за счет этого она и выиграла

After seeing the show again, I have to say that I was amazed how bad Toto had been on that night. I remembered the show being very chaotic (I was 14 at the time), but seeing the scoring again, my goodness ... how many times did Toto say 'Mr. Naef'??

1. The presenters were indeed bad! So much italian talent out there and this is what they were able to come up with...shame!
2. France and Greece were robbed! France's Amina was nothing short of sensational, as was the Greek singer. Either of these two artists deserved to win in that year. (Personally i was supporting Amina all the way...)

Concerning the saxophone player during the Greek entry, if I remember correctly he was bribed into ruining the song by Turkish television

Toto Cutugno has to win the award for most annoying person ever to host Eurovision - for those of you who don't speak Italian, he spends the whole evening completely failing to realise the fact that he's incompetent, gets quite bossy in some places and shows ridiculous bias towards certain countries.

Being Italian, I really beg my pardon to everybody for the terrible Toto Cutugno's performance as a host... I already think he's a very poor singer and I had a memory of what a mess he did that night, but now I had the opportunity to see him again, and I just have to say: please, EXCUSE HIM for existing, and forgive the ones who decided to place him there...The show was slow, it's true, and it's very poor for the entertainers not to speak a word in English or French all along the night, but you have to understand that the only way to hope to keep some Italian audience attached to TV duringr the ESC, (after all the money spent by our broadcasting company to organize the show), was to put some popular faces on the stage and avoid them to speak in a foreign language (and be sure that Gigliola Cinquetti was able to do it). Anyway, I think that maybe now the contests are too aseptic... and maybe we all regret such comic situations! |

Ваххх че там началось. Не попав ни в одну ноту дальше полилась фанера. Затем появился Fancy, этот осилил первый куплет, далее пустил петуха пару раз, потом пропустил слова, закончилось все опять фанерой. Короче, единственный кто там нормально спел, был Сергей Минаев, слышали такого наверно, остальное -в газенваген, и больше никогда не видеть и не слышать. Но не это главное. Главное, что когда концерт показали по ящику, все нормально было, фанерили, идеально попадали в ноты, в общем, милое зрелище. Н-да. Ну а Сандра она по моему никогда и не умела петь. Так, куколка, в свое время ниче собой, а талант -да где он там.
